Well crap. I knew this would happen sooner or later. I keep my cell phone in my front left pocket at all times which means every once and a while it gets banged or bumped if I bang or bump into anything. Well, today it got more than just banged. It got smashed. I walked into the kitchen and rammed my thigh into the counter top to see if it would hurt (just kidding about the “to see if it would hurt” part, it was entirely accidental) and I heard a crunching sound come out of my pocket. I thought to myself, “Man, that sounded kind of like how I would expect a cell phone getting broken to sound.” Sure enough, I was right. The glass that covers the tiny LCD on my cell phone was crushed all to hell. It even damaged the LCD screen. I had to remove the glass so I wouldn’t get cut. Now my phone looks extra jank. Great. Unfortunately, I don’t like my electronics to look as worn in as I do my clothes. Too bad I already spent my Christmas bonus on new tires…
