Snowboarding ‘05

Good grief, I have never had so much fun in my life. Our trip had originally been scheduled for Park City, Utah, but that got postponed until next year so we ended up going back to Colorado. We were about 15 minutes away from the city we stayed in last year but instead of snowboarding at Breckenridge, we bought tickets for Copper Mountain. I’d never been there before so I had no idea what to expect. Plus, I am not a serious snowboarder either so one place is as good as the next as far as I was concerned. Until now. Usually, when we go, there’s always someone that asks us, “So why are you guys spending all five days at the same resort?” Last year, my answer was, “I don’t know, where else should we go?” But this year’s response was, “Because there are more tree runs at Copper Mountain that we could do in a month.” Also, it snowed between 14″ and 17″ on the third day which made for the absolute best day of snowboarding I’ve ever had. We were so spoiled by the powder and lack of a crowd on Thursday that when we got there the next day and found hundreds of people on the mountain, we said to hell with it and left early. To top it all off, I got to hang out with two of the best guys I’ll ever know for an entire week. Check out the photos from the trip by clicking here. Thanks to Colorado, thanks to Copper Mountain and thanks to Seth and Trip for helping make this year’s vacation a total blast.
PS-Just kidding Seth and Trip, you guys are assholes.

I’m just glad to see that I’m not the only person who’s gained some weight since college. But I guess Miller and Tony are still as skinny as they were back then.

Sounds like you guys had a good time! gotta love that 17″ of fresh snow!!

I actually weigh about 5 lbs less than I did in college. Speak for yourself, Chubby Chubbs. Unless, of course, you’re talking about my hat. It has definitely gained a little bit of weight in sweat and dirt. But I am suprised you noticed cause it still looks the same to me.
