I finished the new (very Web 2.0ish) Bittersweet Styles site this evening and it’s now live for the internetters to see.
For nearly a year now, BittersweetStyles.com just re-directed over to the eBay store. But now, it’s gone all official on us both by receiving it’s very own place on the web. Aw, how special.
Head on over and check it out by clicking here or here or here. Or here.
And if you’re looking for some hott ladies fashions, don’t be shy about bidding on some of the goodies we’ve got for sale over there. Everything is always one-of-a-kind so once it’s gone, it’s gone for good.

Speaking of finding videos, somebody finally digitalvideoizered Cory’s David Letterman appearance from a few years ago.
I remember watching this live in Memphis at the Young Avenue Deli with nearly everyone else in the music scene. We were all pretty excited to see Cory on national television but none of us were prepared to see Paul Shaffer playing along (it’s near the end).
Check it out.

I found a Red40 video taken at State Street in Little Rock over at the Towncraft movie site yesterday.
Red40 is Ben’s (Lucero) old band from back in the day. If I’m not mistaken, you can buy the Red40 CD from Bill over at New Scratch.
Update: Looks like the video is also available on YouTube.

A few weeks ago, I wrote about our 2-day affair with Dish Network and how it left us a) a lot more educated about Dish Network and b) $199 poorer.
Despite numerous phone calls and arguments with customer service representatives, there was nothing I could do to talk them into refunding the $199 equipment fee for the HD DVR that we had for almost 2 days.
I felt helpless and thought that the least I could do was educate anyone who reads my blog about the fine print details of signing up with Dish Network.
After doing so I felt a lot better and actually forgot all about it until a couple of days ago when I noticed that despite their refusal to refund my money, they went ahead and refunded it anyway! Yup, I was checking my bank account online and noticed a credit for $199 from Dish Network.
So why did they refund my money after repeatedly refusing to do so? I guess they either 1) made a mistake, 2) were lying about not refunding it in hopes of keeping my business or 3) read my blog and got scared to death that the millions of Crasymaker.com readers would spread the word about their hidden traps. As much as I’d love to believe that #3 was the reason, I’m sure it was just an accident.

I’m back from snowboarding and once again, it was great. This year, we went to The Canyons in Park City, Utah. Why’d we go so far?
Well, we originally thought our friend Aaron was going to make it and that it would be fun to go back to where he and I quit our day jobs to move to six years ago. You know, a little nostalgia. Aaron ended up not going but we thought it would still be fun to go somewhere other than Colorado for a change.
It’s also the first time we’ve used an airplane to get out there instead of driving. Needless to say, we’re hooked and will probably fly from now on. It’s so much easier (and cheaper, nowadays) than driving.
I’ll spare ya’ll of the boring snowboarding details and point you straight to the Flickr photo set and also to the Vimeo video. Enjoy.
