I want to give a real sincere thank you to everyone that has sent flowers, e-mails, voicemails, text messages and of course…pizza. Some of you have asked about my mother’s memorial service. It will be tomorrow morning (Saturday 5/26) at 10am in Berryville, Arkansas at Nelson Funeral Home. Should be pretty brief and very casual. Thanks again, everyone.

Hey everyone. Check this out. It’s a new set of photos over at the Flickr place. You can look at them if you want to. You should try it. It’s real fun!

Err, sorry. Some kid took over my keyboard. Anyway, yeah, we went camping like we always do in the spring…and fall. This year, most of the normal crew wimped out because they watched the weather and the weatherman called for rain “all weekend long.” Well, it didn’t rain a single drop the entire trip and turned out to be the best camping weather we’ve had in years. Come on, ya’ll. Don’t be silly. Ain’t nobody can predict the future. Except wizards, maybe.

I got the urge to switch things up a bit around here and now you’re looking at a brand new Crasymaker.com design. This one’s based on N.Design Studios’ free (and very fancy) GlossyBlue theme. I switched a few things around to personalize it a bit, but those dudes did all the heavy lifting.

Anyway, pretty much everything is still here so don’t freak. The polls widget is gone, but will be back for sure. The icon links to my other homes on the web such as MySpace, Facebook, Flickr, etc. are gone but I’ll figure out a place to put them, too.

Hmm, what else? I think that’s it. If you like it, clap once. If you don’t clap twice. Cool?

Well damn. It’s been a long time since I posted anything on here. Sorry. Sort of. I hope I still remember how to do this. Let’s see, what’s been going on?

Most notably, I’ve been working like crazy on our front yard. Eventually, I’ll put up a nice before-n-after shot so you can see how far things have come since we moved in. At this point, I’d say we’re about 90% complete. Last June, we added a porch and since then, there’s been a steady amount of gravel removal and most recently, a ton of landscaping. We needed it bad. This photo isn’t quite up-to-date but it pretty much sums up what the yard looks like now.

I reorganized my Flickr page to include “Collections”. It’s something I’ve been meaning to do for a while. Now I can put individual “Sets” into larger categories and it’s way more organized and easier to navigate. During the process, I added a Music Collection which includes three new sets of photos from 1) my time spent with Lucero, 2) a few shots from The Paper Hearts days and 3) Some more current photos of The Good Fear.

There are a few other fairly major things to report but not right now because I gotta get back to work. Deal with it. Or don’t.
