I was in a serious rush today on my lunch break which means I had to eat fast food for the 2nd time this week already.
I stopped by an old favorite in Burger King and noticed something that looked pretty tasty to my starving eyes (although it certainly doesn’t anymore). It was the Loaded Steakhouse Burger and it was nasty.
I was just seconds away from ordering a normal Steakhouse Burger (which I’ve had before and it’s relatively good for the most part), when I noticed that the “Loaded” version has a baked potato topping which sounded delicious. It was not.
I don’t want to go into what this burger tasted like but if you’re interested, this blog has a spot-on review. As always, The Impulsive Buy is also pretty accurate.
Either way, don’t order this burger. Like I said, it’s nasty.

Time to start taking your lunch. That “burger” looks so gross.

I don’t understand why anyone eats at BK or Hardee’s. But I like Sonic so I guess six in one, half dozen in the other…

How does it ‘look’ nasty? I looks like a frickin burger. If you don’t like it don’t eat it. How can you “Not understand” why people eat there? It’s like people not liking cucumbers or onions. Personal preference. I ate it, I enjoyed it. Reminded me a bit of how I use to put french fries on my burgers when I was in elementary school.

Nobody said it “looks” nasty. I did, however, say that it “was” nasty. But what I should’ve written is NAAAAAAASTY.

Am I the only one who LOVES these? I know I not the skinniest guy alive (230 lbs to be exact), but I am also not the fattest guy around either. Just because one of these burgers tasted bad doesn’t mean they all do. These sandwiches are made by different people in different BK’s. It shouldn’t make a difference where it’s made but sadly it does. (I know this because I used to work at Burger King). These sandwiches are absolutely delicious and if you care so mush about healthiness, here is a tip, DONT EAT FAST FOOD!!!!!

Derek: I also worked at a Burger King before. For 5 years, to be exact. Is that a good thing? Maybe. Maybe not. You’re totally right. There are some sandwiches that can taste completely different depending on who’s slinging the ingredients. Out of respect for my personal history and in response to your comment, I’m willing to possibly take one for the team by trying another one of these things. In fact, I’ll even go to a different BK in town. However, if this one doesn’t pan out and I spew all over my car, I’m blamin’ YOU! Kidding, of course…sorta. I’ll let ya’ll know when I take the plunge.

I am curious as to why people are getting upset about Todd’s dislike for a fast food burger. And where is the remark about healthiness coming from, Derek? I don’t remember that even being a factor in Todd’s original reason for disliking the burger.
PS- I worked at BK for 2 years.

Not all of my comments are directed at Todd, jones, so please excuse me if I was a bit vague. In his review, he cited The Impulse Buys article and it talks to an extent on health issues. Also, its not that people are upset, its just that todds problem (I use the term EXTREMELY loosely) can be easily fixed. Just because you have one bad experience with some sort of food doesn’t mean its absolutely vile and no one should eat. Different strokes for different folks. Don’t try it once and condemn it.
